Troy Hanson is a seasoned professional with 33+ years of experience in the automotive, industrial/construction equipment and aerospace industries.  His lean enterprise journey began in 1990 when he was hired as a fuel systems development engineer with the Cummins Engine Corporation.  Although he has held a variety of positions across Engineering (18 yrs), Manufacturing (12 yrs) and Quality (3 yrs) disciplines, Troy still considers himself a student of lean enterprise and finds satisfaction supporting business leadership to establish and achieve their goals.

A firm believer in teamwork and that a business’s most valuable resource is its people, Troy has applied his energy and hands-on approach to leadership for over 25 years.  He takes great pride having led teams to provide Continuous Improvement training, facilitate events, implement single piece flow assembly lines, design & implement Kanban replenishment systems, implement Real-Time-Problem-Solving processes and successfully execute product work transfer projects. 

Troy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota.  He completed Business Administration undergraduate course work from IUPUI in Columbus, Indiana and North Dakota State University (1999). 

Troy and his wife reside in Jamestown, North Dakota.  They devote their free time to home improvement projects, spending quality time with their family and spoiling their six grandchildren.
